Dawson Memorial FEI Pony/Junior/Young Rider Team Test 2009
1st place went to Laura Kuropatwa (PT) and Don Joshi with a score of 68.034, 2nd Phoebe Peters (JT) and Delfiano 67.793, 3rd Charlotte Grundy (YR) and Just Thomas 66.272

Shearwater Potential International Dressage Horse - 4 years old horses
This was a very strong class and the top six were: Emma Leech and Euphoria 79.0, Nars Gottmer and Woodlander Forever Amadeus 75.2, Daniel Bremner and Dillon 74.4, Hannah Biggs and El Bandido 73.6, Sadie Smith and Easter Bunny the Second 72.8, Lizzie Murray and Catherston Specific 72.4.
The final judging took place in the Hartpury Arena – 1st place was awarded to Nars Gottmer and Woodlander Forever Amadeus and 2nd place went to Emma Leech and Euphoria the remaining places were unchanged.
Shearwater Potential International Dressage Horse – 5 year old horses
Well done to Daniel Greenwood and Lukien Von Tespe with a very high score of 92.06, 2nd Melissa Chapman and Dynamo 90.0, 3rd Sorrell Klatzo 82.8
The final class at the Festival was the Cushion Bed Prix St. George’s 2009 Q

FEI CDI3* International Dressage
FEI CDI Intermediate I Freestyle – Sponsored by Albion Saddlemakers – world class British manufacturers of competition saddles and accessories.
Once again Michael Eilberg rode a superb test on Mrs Lynne Crowden’s Woodlander Dornroshen and took 1st place on a score of 79.075, 2nd Zoe Sleigh and Fantastic Light 75.025, 3rd place went to Anne-Marie Perry and Feine Dame 52 on a score of 74.700
The prizes were presented by Sally Pritchard, Business Development Manager of Albion Saddlemakers assisted by the President of the Ground Jury Christoph Hess
FEI CDI3* Baileys FEI Grand Prix Special
This was the final competition in the International Arena and again Michael Eilberg riding Mrs Julie and Mr Jonathan Deverill’s Half Moon Delphi performed a stunning test to win on a score of 74.583, 2nd Daniel Watson and Fideramber 67.188, 3rd Lisa Hopkins and Walkman BC 65.792 and 4th place went to Alice Openheimer and Headmore Delegate 64.938

FEI Para Freestyle Test Grade Ia & Ib
Grade Ia - Sophie Christiansen(GBR) and Janerio 6 were on top form to take first place on a score of 79.050, 2nd Anne Dunham (GBR) and LJT Lucas Normark 76.650, 3rd Emma Sheardown and Purdy’s Dream 72.450.
Grade Ib – Once again Lee Pearson (GBR) performed a great test on Zion to take 1st place 75.050 closely followed in second place by Ricky Balshaw (GBR) on a score of 73.200 and in 3rd place Stinna Tange Kaastrup (DNK) and Steffi Graf on 71.350
FEI Para Freestyle Test Grade II
Well done to Natasha Baker (GBR) and Cabral who was at the top once again with a score of 78.250, 2nd place Erin Orford (GBR) and Nirvana Morroko 74.000, 3rd Lauren Barwick (CAN) and Off to Paris 72.500.
FEI Para Freestyle Test Grade III Deborah Criddle (GBR) and LJT Akilles took 1st place on 74.000 2nd place went to Vladimir Vinchon (FRA) riding Bo VB 71.300 and 3rd Louise Studer (FRA) and Flint 69.900.
FEI Para Freestyle Test Grade IV 1st Sophie Wells (GBR) and Valerius took 1st place 80.200 with 2nd place going to Nathalie Bizet (FRA) and Rubica 3 and 3rdplace went to Vanessa Knight (GBR) and Balistro 4 69.350.

Monarch Equestrian FEI Prix St Georges
Michael Eilberg rode a beautiful test on Mrs Lynne Crowden’s Woodlander Dornroschen to take 1st place 74.316, 2nd place went to Katherine Bateson Chandler (USA) and Alcazar 72.158 and 3rd place went to Anders Dahl and Selten HW 72.026.
The prizes were presented by the President of the Ground Jury Cara Whitham.
Holiday Inn FEI CDI Grand Prix
All eyes were on the Olympic gold medallist Charlotte Dujardin who rode a stunning test on Carl Hester’s Utopia to take 1st place with a score 76.404. 2nd place went to Michael Eilberg and Half Moon Delphi with 73.000, 3rd Anders Dahl and Wie-Atlantico De Ymas 67.277.
Charlotte was a member of the British team who won the second leg of the FEI Nations Cup in Rotterdam last week where she produced the biggest score of the competition with a strong performance on her double gold medal winning partner Valegro.
The prizes were presented by the President of the Ground Jury Wojtek Markowski.
This concluded the end of the third day.

The second day of the Festival was blessed with brilliant sunshine.
FEI Para Individual Championship Test Grade III
Once again Deborah Criddle (GBR) dominated the leader board taking 1st place on LJT Akilles 71.439, 2nd place Vladimir Vinchon (FRA) and Bo VB 66.878, 3rd place Louise Studer (FRA) and Flint 64.415
FEI Para Individual Championship Test Grade IV
The 1st place went to Sophie Wells (GBR) and Valerius again on a score of 72.976, 2nd Nathalie Bizet (FRA) and Rubica 3 69.119, 3rd Rosemary Gaffney and Aldham Mill Dubloon 67.167

This concluded a very successful second day.
Serious dressage fans are in a for treat on Saturday night with 4 of Woodlander Stud’s fabulous stallions on display – Woodlander Wavavoom (the highest scoring UK based stallion of all time), Woodlander Supertramp, Debonair and pony stallion Donnerblitz.
Woodlander Farouche, a mare bred and produced by Lynn and Dave Crowden and their team, has already made her mark on the Festival with a simply stunning win in the Lovington Ice Advanced Medium 98 on Wednesday.

Once again Hartpury College, set amongst the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside, is delighted to host this very popular International Festival of Dressage – five days of outstanding equestrian sport including the FEI CDI3*, the International Para competition and the National Premier League competitions from Shearwater 4 – 6 year old Championships Dressage Horse class.
This top level International competition will see some of the world’s leading riders taking part – including Charlotte Dujardin, Carl Hester and Michael and Maria Eilberg.
The Para dressage entries also contain an excellent line up of competitors including British Olympic medallists at London 2012 – Sophie Christiansen, Natasha Baker, Sophie Wells and Lee Pearson.
Sophie Wells is also taking part in the National Premier League.
Arc Equine are the very generous headline sponsors once again for the Para International dressage. ArcEquine tissue repair system has been developed after many years of academic and practical research with the help of successful National Hunt trainers, leading riders from all Olympic disciplines and a multitude of other specialists. ArcEquine has proved highly effective throughout all UK equestrian disciplines and members of the British Olympic equestrian team.
A large number of the students from the college have been helping with the practical and administrative preparations for this event. This is a great opportunity for the students to gain experience by working alongside the Olympic medallists taking part.

Pavo Cup - KWPN – Royal Dutch Sport Horse
Hartpury was delighted to hold this competition last year – which was the first time KWPN had organised a pre-selection for the Parvo Cup, outside the Netherlands and we are delighted to hold this qualifier again this year.
The Pavo Cup is the prestigious KWPN Young Dressage Horse Championships of the Netherlands. Many Parvo Cup championship horses have made their mark in the international dressage arenas.
